QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

The scope of activities and products that BIOZOO, S.A. considers compliant with the requirements set out under IFS is as follows:

Formulation and development, manufacturing and marketing of high-end snacks for companion animals.
Manufacturing and marketing of bars for small companion animals.
Marketing of comfort range products, accessories and hygiene products for companion animals.
Packaging and marketing of snacks, bars and basic food for small companion animals.

The Quality and Food Safety Policy statement sets out the following guiding principles:

To meet the demands, requirements and expectations of our customers by supplying high-quality, safe, authentic and wholesome products.
To implement and disseminate at all levels of our organization the objectives, targets, programmes and criteria for Quality and Food Safety, as well as to monitor their level of progress, enabling us to understand and ensure the service and quality and food safety assurance required by our customers and current legislation.
To design processes that reduce risks related to food safety in our products and to proactively assess food risks at all stages of our production processes.
To minimize contamination and waste generation and to manage them appropriately, maintaining our commitment to continuous improvement and to the prevention and reduction of environmental impacts at all levels of our company, through the sustainable use of resources. For this reason, proactive work is required to execute, implement and develop knowledge, as well as to have sufficient structures in place.
To encourage and achieve a stimulating and motivating environment for all members of the company.
To continuously apply the concepts of food safety culture by every Biozoo employee in their day-to-day activities.
To comply with legal requirements and to meet the explicit and implicit demands, requirements and expectations of our customers, carrying out the evaluation and implementation of such requirements.
To update and maintain personal competencies and ensure their optimal alignment with job functions, through human resources management that promotes ethics, training and continuous evaluation, involving all employees and fostering loyalty to our commitment to achieving the highest quality.

The Management of BIOZOO, S.A. makes this policy accessible and available to all its employees. It is kept up to date through periodic reviews, coinciding with management reviews of the quality and food safety system, in order to take into account changes in environmental conditions and the information received. In this regard, it provides and will continue to provide all the human, technical and financial resources necessary to achieve the objectives and targets that are established on a planned and periodic basis.
